White Butterfly, Pieris rapae.

Posted by Grahame (Mt Maunganui, New Zealand) on 4 February 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

White Butterfly, Pieris rapae, Female.
The difference between the Male and Female is the number of spots on the fore wing.
The female have two while the male one.
Both have one spot on the hind wing.
As is often the case with me I have no idea as to what species the plant is.

Hi folks,
Hope you enjoy the Dreams.
All feedback is enjoyed.
Don't be scared if you think the image is a nightmare, I still want to hear your thoughts about it.
I've just redesigned my website so if your interested in seeing the images I've been taking wander on over for a nosey.
